If you are sending your test and measurement equipment unit back to us for calibration or repair, please obtain an online Return Materials Authorization Number (RMA#) BEFORE sending your unit back to us. This number, when placed on the outside of the shipping package, will speed processing at our Service Lab and will serve as a reference number for the time your unit is at QuadTech. QuadTech Calibration & Repair Services for your Cable Tester, Hipot Tester and other Test and Measurement Equipment

We offer expert onsite calibration & repair services for all our QuadTech Test and Measurement Equipment:

  • Electrical Safety Testers (Cable Tester, Hipot Tester, etc.) are calibrated and shipped back to you within 2 working days of receipt.
  • Passive Component Instruments are calibrated and shipped back to you within 3-5 days of receipt.
  • Flat repairs are performed and shipped back in 2 weeks.
  • A calibration certificate is included in all calibrations performed by QuadTech.
  • All measurements made in QuadTech's calibration process are traceable to NIST and are a key assurance of your instruments performance. QuadTech's product performance is compared to standards of known accuracy to ensure conformance with its published specifications.
  • QuadTech's calibration system complies with ANSI/ NCSL Z540.
    • QuadTech has implemented a six-point service program on all units. This insures your test and measurement equipment will received the following:
    • Cleaned & Inspected o Calibration Performed
    • Calibration Sticker Replaced o Certificate Included o Before and After Data (If required)
    • Accessories Attached (if received with unit)
    • QuadTech provides automatic notification via email or postal mail 30 days before your instrument is due for calibration (1 year after purchase).
    • 90-day warranty on all services performed.

  • Upgrades & Enhancements: A number of QuadTech test and measurement equipment, including hipot tester and cable tester instruments, are eligible for firmware enhancements, software upgrades and/ or hardware upgrades.   • Accessory Discount Program: At the time you send your cable tester, hipot tester or other test and measurement equipment in to QuadTech for repair or calibration, you can purchase any accessory at a 10% discount. All accessory descriptions, pricing and pictures can be found online by visiting the Accessories pages.
  • Spare Parts: For all QuadTech test and measurement equipment, we maintain stock on all spare parts. For more information call our Customer Care Center - (800) 253-1230.
  • Before & After Data: Before data is obtained by measurements that are made using NIST traceable standards when the unit arrives prior to calibration. Once the unit is calibrated and any necessary adjustments are made, after data is obtained using the same standards and test conditions as the before data. This data is available to customers at a reasonable fee.
