The 6000 Plus Series instruments, capable of performing 5 major electrical safety tests (AC Hipot, DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance Test, Ground Bond, Open/Short), are now the industry's first with revolutionary Twin-Port™ technology for simultaneous hipot and ground bond testing. Ground Bond and Hipot can be performed simultaneously which reduces testing time and increases throughput.

CaptivATE Software for the Guardian 6000 Plus can fully automate the production line and can create a global database from which printing reports and archiving data is made simple. It is also easier to create and filter historical trends. The Guardian 6000 Plus with CaptivATE can perform paperless testing in addition to electronic signatures and as such is in compliance with Regulatory Agencies.

The Guardian 6100 Plus uses a human body simulated impendence to perform earth, enclosure and patient leakage tests. There are a total of 5 different models that can be used depending on the product standards. The Guardian 6000 Plus Provides accurate medical grade equipment electrical leakage testing and analysis.

To accommodate automated production lines, test sequences on both models can be programmed to "Pause", "Continue on Fail" or "Fail Retest". Test results are easy to see and shown on LCD mounted on the front of the unit. An easy to identify “go”/”no go” indicator provides the overall result. The 6000 Plus also offers the option of password protecting the front panel for security.

Test leads, 115/220V adapters, printer interface, line isolation transformers and automation software are available options for the Guardian to support a variety of measurement applications. The Guardian ships with test leads, an adapter for connecting to 115V corded products and a NIST traceable calibration certificate. The Guardian Series is TUV & UL approved and also has the CE Mark.
