QuadTech Introduces The LR2000 Milliohmmeter
For Low Resistance Measurements
Provides Fast, Precision Measurements on a Graphical Display
Maynard, MA - QuadTech, Inc. a leading electronic test equipment manufacturer in the electrical safety and passive component testing marketplace, announces the availability of a new Milliohmmeter for precision low resistance measurements. The instrument was specifically designed for bench top use or automated test of contact and bonding resistance on a wide variety of electronic components, including switches, connectors, relays, solenoids, fuses, motors, cables, and heating elements. Some of the outstanding features that make the LR2000 ideal for incoming inspection, quality control, or production test applications include:

For precision low resistance measurements the LR2000 boasts a basic accuracy of 0.05% and resolution down to 1 m. With nine measurement ranges, the instrument automatically selects the appropriate range providing reliable test results over a wide range of values. The unit provides a user friendly menu interface and easy-to-read graphical display for easy setup, programming, and viewing results. The LR2000 also includes a programmable Hi/Lo comparator function and 8 sorting bins for pass/fail testing and categorization of devices. To ensure that a test can be configured quickly and run the same way every time the test setup and comparator/binning information is automatically recalled on instrument power-up.
The new LR2000 offers a number of other features including, fast measure speed, four terminal Kelvin connection, auto zeroing, polarity switching and pulsed mode. A choice of three measure modes are available (fast, medium, and slow) for varying degrees of accuracy and speed up to 15 measurements/sec. The four terminal connection and automatic zeroing help maintain measurement integrity by eliminating any errors introduced by the test leads. The polarity reversal and pulsed modes allows the unit to compensate for thermal emf effects and errors caused from device heating.
An IEEE-488/Handler interface is available as an option.
