Electrical Test Meters for Ground Bond Testers
A ground bond test or ground bond testing is usually the first test performed to meet the standards of an electrical safety test specification. Electrical test meters, such as dielectric testers, are instruments that are utilized to perform ground bond tests to examine insulating materials by applying a higher voltage than a component is usually rated over a specified period of time.
The result of ground bond testers is to measure resistance value (R). If this value is lower than the limit set by the international standards specification, the component passes the ground bond test.
