Ground Bond Testers

A ground bond test or ground bond testing is usually the first test performed to meet the standards of an electrical safety test specification. Electrical test meters such as a dielectric testers test insulating materials by applying a higher voltage than a component is usually rated over a specified period of time.

The result of a ground bond test is a measure of resistance value (R). If this value is lower than the limit set by the international standards specification, the component passes.
